A Co-worker, a Field & a Building

March 11, 2025
Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬ ‭

What do you think these verses mean? The first one… not difficult, pretty straight forward. We work alongside God… caring about what He commands; in obedience, showing HIS grace, mercy and love.

So then we are God’s field?

I am thinking planting, cultivating and harvesting… crops? Nah.

Be sure you are producing in yourself and others IE; Fruits of the Spirit … Godly things …

‘how can they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without a preacher?’ This field is the mission field.

Any place in the world is a mission field even next door…under your own roof.. or Cambodia.

So how are we God’s building? “According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬

So  ...laying the foundation is the Gospel believed, and anything other than the true word of God being built on that, the additions to the Good News need to be Scripture NOT opinion based. Be careful when teaching someone “what God says” AND be sure you KNOW what He says before you build wrong things and make sure when letting others build on YOUR foundation … you are a building of God’s truth!

Love of Christ

Dustin Brown
March 10, 2025

And to know the love of Christ, which passes all knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God

Ephesians 3:19

Moses brought the children out of Egypt while their enemies approached from the rear. they saw the fullness of God as he parted the waters and utterly killed and destroyed the enemies. As the voyage continued and he led them into the desert as they thirsted for water, he gave them water through Moses but yet it was the fullness of God. Also as their bellies were hungry he dropped manna from heaven.

Sometimes we murmur over things in our lives and make our own best judgment decisions not relying on the fullness of God, and the outcome ends up that we are in a desert with no water, that we are hungry with no food, and our enemies are overtaking us, because we have relied on our best decisions.

Remember who we serve, while we are here and his grace and mercy that can bring us through any circumstance with guidance.

Today heavenly Father I pray that our own best decisions will get us nowhere but through God that we will ask and receive in his time. Thank you for the hedge of protection that you put around our families, thank you for the blessings that you bestow upon us each and every day, thank you oh Lord that we can be in your grace and mercy through the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation only brought through Jesus Christ. Let us decrease as you increase in our lives, each and every day. Let us grow closer to you knocking upon the door and knowing that you will open it if we ask Amen

God Made Me;  He Knows I …

Good morning

“Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14‬:‭1

‬ ‭ “For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭

I hear Paul saying …don’t sweat the small stuff that makes NO impact on one’s life in Christ. Let them be, God will correct and direct.

What is often said to me … God made me He knows..

I am _____.

I listen to____,

I watch____.

I do____.

and on and on and on.

This verse and the verses following are NOT saying it is OK to sin.

How do you know what sin is? Mosaic Law ..but Jesus fullfilled the law. Yes He did; He laid down His life IN PLACE of yours and mine. He did NOT give anyone the license to sin.

Romans 6:12-23 could hold this title… Do not let sin control the way you live.

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us 1John 1:8

No one who is born of God will continue to sin 1John 3:9

Do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you John 5:14

And my favorite … Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭

Jesus did not take sin out of the World; He died and is alive for YOU to live eternally with GOD because you/ I do SIN.  But we have to try not to knowingly, purposely sin.

We are sinners. With Jesus we are redeemed!

Purpose

Dustin Brown
March 6, 2025

Purpose - the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

Romans 8:28

All things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose.

We can all get discouraged, have doubts, loose strength, and focus in our purpose. Remember John 10:10 says the devil comes to kill still and destroy. This means you. This means your purpose. Christ was dominated by his mission he kept firm in his purpose. We have a heavenly calling up on our lives and it is essential that we know that we are in the purpose of God. Trying to carry out or fulfill some ambition of our own we will find that if it is not in the plan of God it's not going to work.

Today I pray that we plug into our purpose. I pray that we drowned out our surroundings enough to listen to what God has to say and not what we want to do. I pray today that we decrease as he increases in our lives. I pray a hedge of protection around each and every one of you and your families. I think you Lord for the protection and health that we have only by grace and mercy Amen

Good Morning

“What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭22‬ ‭

“Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭21‬ ‭

“Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭18‬ ‭

(The verses are not in order they tell the same thing only not in full so go read it for yourself in full) I have a huge reason for laying them out this way… there was a time I was searching, really searching for answers and I either heard or read this portion of Romans … and I gave up the search.

I guessed I was made for destruction. And from that point on I gave up on hearing God’s voice. Of belonging to Him. I didn’t understand who Jesus is or what He had done. I had never heard a testimony at this point.

We as Christians especially those that live their lives in churches… tend to use phrases that the world doesn’t understand. Like …Jesus died for you. He is God’s only son and God sent Him to earth to die so you don’t have to. And you need to repent and asked to be saved. And then walk away.

So I didn’t think God was good if He made His Son die for me and I certainly didn’t WANT Him to. And sounds like if I don't repent and asked to be saved He might kill me anyway.

And yes I was an adult. Not all of us understand and it sounds like folks are coo coo for coco puffs. Read 1Corinthians 1:18

Tell the lost YOUR story. Quit trying to put an entire love story (the Bible) into a two -three minute conversation.

ETX is the most interesting place I have ever lived. Everyone knows WHO Jesus is … just not all have a relationship with Jesus. Give me those that have never heard the Gospel any day over those that have been raised within its power, mercy and grace but still don’t KNOW Him.

Tell the lost YOUR true story of how Jesus found you. And then how you seek and He answers. Start at YOUR begining; you may only have two- three minutes…

 Know Him; make Him known

Winds Day; Groaning's

Kelly Blacklock
March 05, 2025

Good morning

“For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬-‭23‬

It is a bit windy here in ETX these past two days. At my home it started sometime around 11pm on Monday night. Just loud enough that I would stop the podcast, to listen for the noises I was hearing. Decidedly wind; I went back to listening to the podcast. Yesterday however I didn’t have to stop any other noise to hear the wind. It roared, broke trees and it was so fierce I opened a pathway of air through the house in case it was tornado force.

This reminded me of this passage and it happened to be in my study time this morning. The groaning as if labor pains. From then til now. Sin didn’t just insert itself in mankind but in all of creation. Stop and think about that.

There is still some wind today but nothing like yesterday. Yesterday I was looking for tornadoes. The breaking of trees, the shimmering rumble of the roof and the groaning of the house… all made me think of creation groaning.

We aren’t the only ones affected by sin. We aren’t the only ones in pain. We GROAN in ourselves eagerly waiting for the adoption and redemption of our bodies.

Rejoice that we have the redeemer! A new day has dawned. Groan ..but fight the good fight.

 Even so Lord Jesus ..Come.

He Calls Me Daughter

Good morning

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ ‭

Anyone here like to be punished in someone’s anger?

 Wrath seems worse.

Wrath 1. : strong vengeful anger or indignation. 2. : retributory punishment for an offense or a crime : divine chastisement.

The God who has had no maker. Who has no beginning and will not die. Who created the entire World and every living creature on it and mineral in it, with the knowledge of all things past present and future, the one to have created the moon and the stars. The one to create bodies to function, even 50 years let alone 100 plus years and under the great damage we do to encourage bodily death. Created heavenly beings that a third of which turn against Him, wage a war and be evil. With one goal; destroy the very creation He made to have a relationship. He sacrifices of Himself,  in His only Son, to restore this relationship from said evil.

This MIGHTY God is angry; in a state of wrath! Against me?

 Should I ignore such knowledge?

 Pass it off as meaningless?

 Keep living “my best life”?

Settle in for a long winters nap?

 To quote Paul CERTAINLY NOT!

The Christ is, was and will be, the ONLY way to The Father, the ONLY way to avoid this wrath!

He laid his life down for me, shall I ignore this?

Chalk it up as a nice story?

 Absolutely NOT!

The hem of His garment accessed great healing POWER from the FAITH of one woman whom man deemed… unworthy, unclean, to be made outcast, unwanted, unloved and unforgivable ..into that to which the same Mighty God calls her..MY DAUGHTER! Worthy, clean, wanted, loved … REDEEMED and RESTORED!

I am living my best life, my life with THE MIGHTY God, Father, Son and Spirit… and He calls me Daughter.

Know Him; make Him known

Buckle Up Buttercup

March 03, 2025
Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭

Do you recall Thursday’s devotional? We left Paul with God making known to Him His plan for Paul to now go speak to the Romans and spread the Gospel. Well Paul has done just that he left Jerusalem and is now in Italy; Rome. Easy peasy right? 23 ish days and you are ready to get started.

Umm.. no. Paul’s trip which is considered his third to Jerusalem, took almost a year. Approximately 9-11 months, for a less than a month trip.

Let’s see ..he was arrested, sailed the Mediterranean Sea, layovers at ports were a plenty; Sidon, Myra, Crete and finally shipwrecked after 14 days of no food, on the Island Malta, where he stayed 3 months-wintered. Oh .. where he got snake bit.

So when God calls you to go it is smooth sailing? Nah it is an adventure.

Never once did God forget He had sent Paul, never once did God leave Paul. Even speaks to him words of encouragement, that not one passenger will die. Oh and did I forget to tell you when Paul arrives in Rome, he is placed in prison for nearly two years.

Philippians 1:29… Suffering serves to strengthen faith, develop perseverance, and deepen reliance on God.

In other words, buckle up buttercup it is going to be a bumpy ride.

However…My yoke is easy and my burden is light. My grace is enough and I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Salt

Good morning

 Matthew 5:13

Ye are the salt of the earth:but if the salt has lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted?it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out,and to trodden under foot of men.

Salt does 3 things.

1. It preserves

2. It adds flavor

3. It can be bitter

As children of God...we are to be all 3 to this world.

1st...we preserve the word of God and demonstrate it, in our walk with God. The lost will "read our walk",before they'll read the bible,so "Preserve" God's word and walk righteously.

2nd it adds flavor to a bland world.

Joy and happiness comes from serving others,NOT in obtaining wealth for ourselves. When the lost see us "serving",it brings a good taste in their mouths, knowing that we serve in "Love"

3rd It will bring bitterness to those who are opposed to God.

It also brings bitterness to those "Christians" walking in the flesh.

Have a blessed day...

And He Ran.. to Jesus

February 28,2025
Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.” ‭‭

Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭

Ever cut yourself? Know someone that did or does? It truly seems insane to anyone that has a healthy mind. But for someone who has been abused it is a release, or someone so depressed like over a loss, such as a child or grandchild, a twin. A tormented mind may cut to feel ANYTHING.

Although I have never purposely cut myself, I can relate to this man. I believe he was cutting himself with STONES (no less) for one of two or both reasons. To try to make the demon come out or to see if he could still feel it his own flesh. The demon could have been doing it to him, but I would be hard pressed to see it that way. Mental torment is the worst kind of torment. Physical can only last so long before the mind makes the body pass out. The mind doesn’t stop, it can break, it will in extreme cases split, it will cope and it will die usually with physical or drug related trauma.

This man has been tormented and isolated…until…

“When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭

Hope!

The demons' thoughts and the man's thoughts seemed to intertwine… the demons know who Jesus is but do they worship Him? They might be forced to bow down but that isn’t the same as what I see here… I could be totally wrong. I pray not. I think the demons and the man see the same thing ..a boat comes to shore, a man gets off and the demons think..the SON of GOD! Why is he here?!?… the man heard it in his thoughts and broke free for an instant while the demons were puzzled over Jesus' appearance and he RAN and worshipped Jesus! Can you imagine?

Look what the demons say…“And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”” ‭

Ironic the demon asks not to be tortured although the man has been tortured by them.

You read the scripture in Mark and tell me; am I off base?

He ran to Jesus!

How’s Life Treating You?

February 27,2025

Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“Now when there arose a great dissension, the commander, fearing lest Paul might be pulled to pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the barracks.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭23‬:‭10‬

Paul was again trying to spread God’s word; the Gospel of Christ. And all people believed and rejoiced in the truth???? Unfortunately, that is NOT what happened..look…

“Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, “Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬

And all the people sat down and listened???? Not even close…

“And the high priest Ananias commanded those who stood by him (Paul) to strike him on the mouth.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭23‬:‭2‬ ‭

And then Paul coward and stopped talking about Jesus????

Ummm not exactly…

“Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! For you sit to judge me according to the law, and do you command me to be struck contrary to the law?”” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭23‬:‭3‬ ‭

And now we are back to the first verse above..he was in danger of being torn apart by the crowd and was taken to the barracks…

So then God said to Paul thank you for trying to tell all the people the Good News, just go rest or play golf; you deserve it????? Actually…

“But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭23‬:‭11‬ ‭

God said ..chin up now let’s go do it again! We will be tested! We will have hardships! We will have opposition! We will have an opportunity to do it again! Paul spoke BOLDLY about Jesus, and he had hardships for the rest of his life on this earth.

How is life on this earth treating you?

Fight the battle

February 27, 2025
Dustin Brown

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith take hold of the eternal life which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses

If we look at it the cost. It cost God everything to have this salvation that we hold dear and true.

If we look at battles and what battles stand for, by definition a battle is a sustained fight between large organized arms forces.

When we took the profession of faith we knew that there was going to be a battle between what God did and what Satan wants to take away. Everyone knows that the devil comes to kill steal and destroy. The thing about battles are they are rarely over quickly, rarely happen without casualties, never easy, and require you to move and maybe even get uncomfortable in situations. A lot of times in my life I have so wanted to wave the white flag of surrender because of doubt. Then I can remember that God had one son that was holy righteous and never sinned but never a son that didn't go to the cross. Of course we're going to have doubts, problems, worries, and things we cannot answer. Remember just because we don't have an answer doesn't mean there's not an answer and don't confuse yourself with you not having an answer but they're not being an answer. Stay in the fight.

Today Lord I thank you for putting up the shield around me and protecting me from the fiery darts. Lord I just ask that you protect the minds and mindset of my brothers and sisters to allow them to see the answer in time in your perfect time. Put a hedger protection around my family and my absence in Jesus name. Amen

Joy a little deeper

Dustin Brown - February 26, 2025
In the book of Isaiah 38 to 16 through 17

Oh Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is life of my spirit. So you will restore me and make me live. Indeed I was praying for my own piece that I had great bitterness; but you have lovingly desired my soul from the pit of corruption, for you have cast all my sins behind your back.

Hezekiah who was honored by God as a faithful king fell sick and was told by Isaiah that he would soon pass. Hezekiah requested that God extend his life. God extended his life another 15 years but it wasn't at the request of living but yet was requested by using his life here more abundantly when he said in verse 17 yet it was from my own peace but you lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption to the forgiveness of sin.

To me God permits hardships, he enlarges our living areas by increasing our peace, and deeping our joy

Today thank you Lord this day that you have made let us look towards all of them let us look towards the things of now and the things of the future to come through your promise Lord let us see what you would have us do each and every day please put a head protection on my family and my absence but a hedge of protection over my brothers and sisters guarding their minds and giving them strength to do for what you'll call them to do Amen

And to Die is Gain

February 26,2025

Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’ ”” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭21‬:‭10‬-‭11‬

Here we have the prospective of and from, those that were traveling with Paul. Rare that we hear what others around Paul testify about him.

See here what I mean… “Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭21‬:‭12‬ ‭

“Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭21‬:‭13‬ ‭

Is that not amazing! So if you were told you would be bound and led into a bad situation, would you be ready this way? I like to think I would; but I think I would in the end; fail.

Paul is ready to DIE for Christ to live! And I am not sure I would. I really hope I will when the time comes. What do you think?

Paul asked them warning him, to stop trying to convince him not to go… I believe that is the real test here… when someone else is willing to DIE for Jesus to live (The Gospel to spread), stop trying to convince them to be weak. Support them and if God is calling you to go, then go!

Search your heart and prepare for the danger in following Jesus in the days to come. Prepare for war, each day take up the full armor of God and support those willing to go now.

That you will be ready as Paul was.. to die.

Take Me to Church; Brother!

February 25, 2025

Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. There were many lamps in the upper room where they were gathered together. And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep; and as Paul continued speaking, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭7‬-‭9‬

This account of Paul speaking until midnight… I have heard this mentioned in a sermon, but unfortunately all that stuck was something that is often said about how long Paul’s sermon went.. I don’t think of time when listening to God’s word or talking about God’s word. I am a little disoriented I don’t realize where I am, just for a split second, when the preacher calls the invitation or the teacher calls the end and asks for someone to close us in prayer and Bibles are zipping. To all preachers I for one don’t want you to stop. I am enthralled.

So this account with Paul intrigues me because he didn’t stop at midnight…the young man falls asleep and falls to the ground from three stories and dies… and Paul pauses, goes down stairs, bring’s him back to life and resumes the message, til dawn!

Look…

“But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, “Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.” Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭10‬-‭11‬

After Paul uses his God given power to bring the boy to back to life and basically calls out “he’s 👍 good” comes back upstairs, leaves the boy and eats and talks til dawn then heads out as planned.

“And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭12‬

Do you see this?!? EVERYONE was lost in the Sermon!  And the incident didn’t STOP the word of God! Everyone continued listening!!! Man! Take me to CHURCH!

Cept the young man. He didn’t even witness his own miracle.

Preach ON! Brother!!

Hey friend

  Proverbs 27:6

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

A "good" friend will keep you closer to Christ and will call you out privately when they see something potentially wrong in my walk with The Lord.

As we grow in The Lord...we will see this as a blessing, because a true friend only wants the best for you. Thank you all for being "True Friends" and helping me to keep straight in my walk with Jesus.

There's not many "True Friends"

If you don't know one...BE ONE...

Chaos, Confusion, Lies, Anger and Fear

February 24, 2025
Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: “Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade.” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭

Profiting financially from others beliefs. Monetary gain on lies. “Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands.” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭

If you can create it how can it do anything in which YOU are UNable. Satan is delusional. He feeds on fear, confusion, chaos and violence…

“So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.”” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭27‬

Lies. Destroy. People.

“Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.” ‭‭

Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭

Confusion, chaos and anger destroy people. “Some therefore cried one thing and some another, for the assembly was confused, and most of them did not know why they had come together.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭32

‬Mass frenzy; destroys, steals and kills.

We are ALL created in God’s Image, All, not just those we agree with.

We have a choice,  always.

Choose you this day whom you will serve; as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord.

Stay Alert! Keep Watch!

Friday February 21, 2025
Kelly Blacklock

Good morning

“Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭

Ever been a time in your life that you've just known you just entered Satan's playground? I don't pretend I got here from a beautiful place. I hear peoples stories and it sounds so wonderful. Loving family, Christian parents; actually whole generations of family who were Christian. That is as foreign to me as living in a hut in a jungle spearing my own food. I honestly cannot imagine what that is like.

I have also been in very ugly places and situations and have no doubt in hindsight Satanic forces were "in charge" there. Jude is talking about this kinda evil. Not just a non believer or a group of curious people with doubt but men that seek to destroy anything holy.

Lately I have been listening to the Bible. I have read the Bible many times and in every version that is deemed Christian. I am going through the Bible in different versions in audio format (while I still read and study). The contemporary version is where I am now. Let me show you these verses in that format...

“Dear friends, I’ve dropped everything to write you about this life of salvation that we have in common. I have to write insisting—begging!—that you fight with everything you have in you for this faith entrusted to us as a gift to guard and cherish. What has happened is that some people have infiltrated our ranks (our Scriptures warned us this would happen), who beneath their pious skin are shameless scoundrels. Their design is to replace the sheer grace of our God with sheer license—which means doing away with Jesus Christ, our one and only Master.” ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Reading and listening to other versions has made me realize I don't always understand the concept of the situation. Desperation didn't jump out at me in the first version. I related the first as reading an article about safe guarding... the second seems to be imploring me to pay attention to my surroundings as there is a killer in my circle.

Be safe out there ..OR …

Ever the Chameleon; Never the Snake

Thursday February 20, 2025

Good morning

“Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus, who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬-‭7‬

“Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭9‬-‭12‬

‭ “And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

“Then he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a certain Jewish woman who believed, but his father was Greek. He was well spoken of by the brethren who were at Lystra and Iconium. Paul wanted to have him go on with him. And he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in that region, for they all knew that his father was Greek.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭1‬-‭3‬

“Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭16‬ ‭

What do you see? What do you learn from Paul’s reactions in each of these scenarios?

In the first scenario he doesn’t hesitate to stand up for the Gospel. What does it say he did to the sorcerer? The HOLY Spirit in him was prompting his own spirit… and he stared him down and called him out then struck him physically blind since he was spiritually blind.

The next scenario is to give you background on why Paul reacted in a way that seems at first glance hypocritical. Circumcision after Jesus died, and rose again is no longer a command, but it isn’t sinful either unless you are doing it to show you are following the law to which you believe you are saved THROUGH the law. But you see what they all just went up against on the subject. So since the Jews new Timothy wouldn’t have followed the law Paul did the ritual on Timothy not to save him, but to remove the subject from the conversation.

And the last scenario the Holy Spirit moved him on the death caused by idols.

The first scenario the Proconsul’s soul was at stake along with all those he may have influence or at least opportunity to bring the Gospel to in that region. And the Proconsul Believed!

The second scenario any Jew Paul and Timothy came in contact with to bring the Gospel would immediately fall on deaf ears and the entire conversations would be about Timothy’s lack in following Mosaic law. The stakes were high on the cost of souls over one rule that neither mattered to salvation but would matter exponentially to his character in the eyes of the Jews.

The last scenario is just a teaser to how Paul through the Holy Spirit was able to speak to the Greeks on their beliefs. (Read how he did that it is pretty cool)

Paul was a chameleon but he was never a snake. Don’t break to the Sin but always bend toward the Sinner.

Look up what Paul says of Himself in

 I Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭19‬-‭23‬

 Serve the sinner.

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Looking back over the past we can see the change that God has made in our lives. Embracing the change and going forward is an awesome thing in our life. Sometimes when we are looking back the devil may go to work on our heads kind of like lots wife just remember that when we look back we need to remain focused on what God is doing in our lives now and not listening to the words of the past, works of the past, or people of the past. For me this has been hard at times and I have even stepped back over the line to indulge in the past behaviors. Let us remain focused on what God has given us and what he plans to do for us Amen.

Today heavenly Father I just ask that you put a hedge of protection around my family in my absence heavenly Father watch over my brothers and sisters as we trudge this road to Happy destiny in the ultimate end being with you. Heavenly Father give us the courage to go forward and present the gospel wherever possible Lord we love you we praise you we just ask that you be with us today not only goddess but take the will and show us what you would have us do in Jesus name

While My Lord was in Anguish; I Slept

Good morning

“As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭2‬ ‭

The very beginning of this verse got me this morning. Ministering TO the Lord. And fasted. This really struck me this morning. How does one ministry TO the Lord???

It says and fasted so these things are not inclusive; they are two separate things.

I know one Angel ministered to the Lord in the garden of Gethsemane, right before the Romans came to arrest Him. And Angels ministered to Jesus after He was tempted by Satan. But Jesus was wholly human and God . So in that context my mind never questioned as humans need ministering to.

This is what I found… Ministering to the Lord" signifies a dedicated act of service and devotion to God.

Fasting involved: This act of worship was accompanied by fasting, signifying a deeper level of commitment and seeking God's will.

This is what I think of when I hear ministering; serving by obeying God, and representing Jesus Christ by helping others while seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit and teaching the Gospel.

I guess ministering to the Lord is a deeper form of worship. But I have done this many times but never would have thought it was ministering TO Him. I feel revived, at peace, able to move forward… so I always thought that was Him ministering to me.

Kept looking and found the word "minister" comes from the Hebrew word amad, which means "to stand, abide, continue, remain, tarry, or to stay up.

This is what the Levi tribe did in the tabernacle. And that “Stay Up” my heart hears.. “Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour?” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭40‬

While my Lord was in anguish; I slept. Is not what I want ever. I want to minister to my Lord! To go deeper to know my worship could be seen to God as me ministering TO Him …I mean … Wow!

Stillness

Wednesday February 19, 2025
Dustin Brown

Be still and know that I am God comes from Psalms 46:10

I have a problem with being still, and listening in my life. Sometimes it's a good reflection to look upon this and take a weak point of where I lack and moving forward to a stronger point.

The Hebrew word is rapa which can translate into slacking, let down, or cease.

A lot of times I will go and go and go without asking the Lord if this is where I need to be and end up in a totally different place from where I was going. If that makes any sense. Sometimes we need to listen to the inner small voice and this can only be done by meditating on being still to acknowledge and be aware what's going on

Today heavenly Father I just asked that you look over my brothers and sisters and allow them to gear down and listen to the inner small voice of what you say. I pray for me and that you would just help me step back and take a listen. Looking before we leap it's in the evidence before we make a decision. God watch over my family and my absence Amen

Beautiful feet

Nahum 1 15

Behold, on the mountains of the feet of him who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! Oh Judah, keep your appointed feast, perform your vows. For the wicked one shall know more pass through you: he is utterly cut off.

In Romans 10: 14 15 we read beautiful feet of those who bring the gospel. Think of those who bring the gospel. The backdrop of the world is dark and in yearning for the good news. The proclamation of peace and the promise of redemption is a picture of joyful restoration.

Wherever we go and whatever we do we need to spread this light throughout. As for me with the powerful testimony of what it was like what had happened and what it's like now is a proclamation of what the Lord can do for anyone.

Today heavenly father I ask that you just protect the minds of those brothers and sisters who see your work is one of the most important things in their lives and to guard their minds give them the courage to go forth. Put a special edge of protection around my family and my absence in Jesus name Amen

Lives Depend On It

Good morning

“For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭ Certainly Not!

Let us just let that question settle a minute. While I give you some verses before this..

“For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭

When we live like we have fire insurance instead of living like we serve a risen Savior with a JUST Father and a helper of His Spirit which is Holy…we in effect cause unbelievers to turn away from God.

Their unbelief does not effect God’s faithfulness, but do we hold some responsibility for their unbelief?

“When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭

To ignore those without faith in Christ is to allow them to die.

And their blood is on our hands.

How we live matters. How we serve or not serve matters. Where, when and how we speak the Gospel or if we do not speak the Truth...matters.

Lives depend on it.

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Kelly Blacklock
Monday February 17, 2025

Good morning

“Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬

“His death” in the above verse is Stephen, the first martyr for Christ.

Stephen was said to… “…And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit” Acts 6:5a

“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬ ‭

“And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬ ‭

“When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7‬:‭54‬-‭55‬

“And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7‬:‭59‬-‭60‬ ‭

Look again at the first verse above …”and they scattered into the regions of Judea and Samaria”

 And now see this…

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me (Jesus) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭

My conclusion: ‘why do bad things happen to good people’

… In this case Stephen became the first martyr in order for the Word of the Gospel of TRUTH of JESUS to spread as Jesus foretold to the disciples.

GOOD NEWS

Monday February 17, 2025

Ephesians 1:13-14 NLT

And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. [14] The Spirit is God's guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

So sometimes we can forget what this is all about. Our life, the breath in our lungs, or the simple mundane task that we do each and every day. Remember when God said do everything as into the Lord.

Good question???

As we go through this day let us reflect upon this and give him the praise that he so deserves. He didn't have to but he did it anyway, he didn't walk away he drew closer, he didn't leave you where you were he offered to pull you out, let us reflect on this, and I'm sure that we will be way more willing to embrace the amount of praise he deserves.

Father today I thank you for not leaving us where we were. Father I thank you for all of my brothers and sisters that you have given me through this path of life. Father I just ask that you watch over them that you guide them that you put a hedge of protection on their minds on their strength and give them the courage to go forward today proclaiming what you have done for them. I asked today God that you put a special hedge of protection around my family in my absence. Amen

Obedience; Not Walking Away

Good morning

“And she said, “O my Lord! As your soul lives, my Lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the Lord. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him. Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.” So they worshiped the Lord there.”

I Samuel‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭

I have tried and tried to find an answer to my question of what would happen if Samuel when he came of age decided to walk away from his mother’s vow on his lifetime of service dedicated to the Lord?

Hannah prayed so fervently to the Lord to allow her to conceive and carry to term a baby so that she might give him back to the Lord; Eli the priest thought she was drunk while she prayed.

Hannah has Samuel and only keeps him until he is weaned. Takes him to the temple and “lends” him to the Lord for his lifetime. What keeps Samuel there?

Hannah comes every year with his siblings as Hannah was allowed to conceive again and again - “her womb was opened”. Yet Samuel didn’t hold a grudge against his mother, father or siblings.

No abandonment issues? No begging to come home.

God said every first born who opens the womb is the Lords. But Hannah gave Samuel to a lifetime vow. Samuel did not take the vow. No choice?

So seems to me… God had Samuel. All the way. He walked with Samuel and God filled his every need emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally.

Think about it. Imagine what God will do for us, loving us so much that we don’t even consider… walking away.

Good morning family

Jesus said be wise as serpents but gentle as doves Matthew 10:6

Kindness is a virtue that reflects the very nature of God. It is a fruit of the Spirit, a mark of those who walk with him. The Bible tells us to love our neighbors and to show compassion and care for the week. To be a light in this dark world, but while kindness and Godly discernment is necessary not all that come with open hands have pure hearts.

Always remember the enemy will get to you through indirect attacks and send people your way who will take advantage of your kindness and who will drain you emotionally, spiritually, and possibly financially. While we are called to help always be in touch with the spirit and have the discernment that is necessary.

Hope you all have a wonderful day God bless you.

Today Lord I just pray that you send the discernment necessary for the ministry of each of my brothers and sisters. Today oh God put a hedge of protection around their minds and hearts today oh Lord just watch over them guide and direct them in the ministry for which you have chosen them to be in. Please heavenly Father keep a special edge of protection around my family in my absence.

Good morning

 Psalm 55:21

The words of his mouth (Absalom...David's son)were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart:his words were softer than oil,yet were they drawn swords.

Like David's son...

Some people are smooth talkers, but their intentions are to stab you in the back.

Judas is another good example of this.

Verse 23 starts of saying...

Psalm 55:23a

But thou,O God,shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction.

It's not our job to bring them down...

God says that HE will take care of it...

Have a blessed day...

Trust in the process

Acts 8:4

Those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria preached Christ to them.

Growing up in a farm-based community I had the chance to use a broadcaster when we would seed. The only problem with the broadcaster is that you couldn't quite put your seed where you wanted it it would sometimes go in adverse places in scatter the seed where you did not plan, but eventually the process of time would evolve in the seed would grow.

In the book of Acts the early Christians were scattered and when Philip went down to Samaria trusting in God The word spread about Jesus Christ.

Trust in the process God knows what he's doing all that we have to do is Christians is to spread the seed of love in the word of God

Thank you Lord for another day and the breath in our lungs and other opportunity to broadcast the word. Thank you for my brothers and sisters that you have placed in my life and I pray hedge of protection over their minds and give them the courage and strength to broadcast. Please just put a special hedge of protection around my family in my absence.

Good morning

The Lord is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬

As the Pastor has challenged us to recite scripture. I got to thinking about what I have memorized in the past and what I can recite now. How much I have lost or have still.  I would like to say it is age that makes me unable to recite; but It is not.

 It is lack of discipline.

I used to memorize and recite 3-4 verses or sections every week… now not at all.

So within 8 years of my journey I now know less, not more.

That is shameful.

So it is time to rectify this mistake and memorize and retain.

This Psalm is popular to memorize. It is one of my favorites. The 34th and the 119th are also; the 119th is the LONGEST Psalm, but I am going to keep working toward it.

Can you imagine there is dystopian society and you are able to BE the oracle of God by speaking His word and bring others to the knowledge of Christ? Ok fine maybe dystopia is too much but you get the idea…

recite, retain.

Just out of curiosity do you have this Psalm memorized?

I Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬-‭9‬

‭ I have never been around the billionaire class or even the millionaire class.  I have been around wealthy people and most of them are very unhappy.

I have a neighbor that is rarely home. Day or night. GORGEOUS home on the outside.

I see no children, no cars of guests, no smells of a grill. No laughter or any noise at all. Not even at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

It makes me wonder do they just work to pay for their things?

I have made a habit of praying for them. And if I ever catch them at home I would love to engage and invite them to church. I have NO idea who they are or what is happening but God does.

We can get in over our head in this world. Especially when we dip our toes in the pool of sin.

If the Bible says don’t , why do we do it, do we really think the don’t doesn’t apply to me?

Why?  We cannot take it with us, do we accumulate, store, house and buy more?

We are not of this world, no-one STAYS in this world forever. NO one has ever taken anything With them when they leave. Sinner nor Saint.

Psalms 98 8 through 9

Let the rivers clap their hands, let the hills be joyful together before the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness he said judge the world, and the people with equity.

Let us sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done a marvelous thing. In my life and testimony all I know is what it was like, what happened, and what it's like now. That is enough to give him praise in my mind even in a not so pleasant situation .Everything may not be going according to my plan or my way, but I must remember and never forget who is in control Romans 8:28 reminds us that he works all things together for good.

Today I pray for you brothers and sisters who read this sincerely. I pray that your mind and your actions be focused on the kingdom. I pray today that you take a step out and faith and present the gospel in some kind of way to someone that desperately needs to hear the kind words of Jesus saying come to me all you who are weary and of heavy labor just remember the work that he done in you he can also do through your words amen. Today I just asked Lord that you put a hedge of protection around my brothers and sisters special angel dispatch to my family to keep them under a hedge of protection until my return thank you Amen

“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭
We hear often in God’s word about gifts. I believe the gifts are aimed at us in this time, just as strongly as it was in Peter’s time.

If we do not use our gifts do you believe that is sin?

Absolutely I believe this.

I do not have any anxiety or fear while using my gifts. I am not nervous while. I may be prior but NEVER during.

I often after have a ‘wow where did that come from’ moment.

The Holy Spirit just moves in me.

And not once that I can recall; have  I had an ‘oh I shoulda _____’ thought.

“John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.””

 ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭

John was one of a kind. When I think of where John might be if he came today I think he might be a Billy Graham. Is it not so very sad that Billy Graham is the only man I know of to compare to John the Baptist? Some 2000 years later???

Every single one of us love the world. Every. Single. One. Of. Us.

Otherwise why aren’t we crying out!!!! Behold! The Lamb of God; who takes away the sin of the world.

I do know when Jesus is coming and if you have read the Bible you do too. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭14‬ ‭

When He comes or when we die I believe strongly within my soul that speaking the Truth of the Gospel; God’s love, will be the BIGGEST deficit among us that know Him.

And second will be reading, studying and knowing His Word.

And third ..prayer; speaking with Him and LISTENING to Him.

It is not too late until your last breath or the Trumpet sounds.

I do not want to see disappointment on Jesus face…in His eyes.

Psalms 51:10
Create in me a new clean heart, oh God filled with clean thoughts and right desires

As the alloy of iron is attracted to a magnet so is our soul attracted hungry and thirsting for righteousness from God. We must seek daily this reprieve. The psalmist David knew of all of the things in the world riches, strength, and pretty much anything that he wanted to do in the world. Which let him to sing oh God thou are my God Early will I seek the My soul thirst for the My flesh longest for the in a dry and thirsty land wear no water is.

God is the only thing that can quench our spiritual thirst and striving to quence that thirst is where we need to find ourselves each and every day. He says if we knock upon the door he will open it.

Today brothers and sisters I pray that you seek after the water that can quench your soul I pray that the holy Spirit opens your mind and heart to the word of God and that we put forward the effort to go towards the water that everlasting water. I pray that a hedge of protection be put it all around my brothers and sisters and a special hedge of protection around my family and my absence.

The value of a soldier is never known in times of peace

Remember when Jesus was talking to Peter and he said that Satan wishes to have you and I have prayed for you that you're faith not fail and when you come through this strengthen your brother.

The trials that we go through are not only to test our faith but when we get on the other side of it we can strengthen our brothers and sisters who are going thru the same.

Always remember that God had a son that was righteous and holy but did not have a son without a cross. We're not promised an easy walk in this life of salvation but a walk with the one that's been there and done all the above

God carries me through and used some of you to do it.

Thank you for all the prayers.

Remember when we tell each other our troubles and sin we are able to have others pray also. Which gives others the chance to be

a blessing and allows them to be blessed also.

Humility is hard. But it is self that keeps us from it.

Know Him; make Him known

I love you 💕

Inventory - Matthew Chapter 7

Good morning. Funny thing is I was starting to do my devotions this morning at 5:30 and a man come and knocked on my door and said let's go ahead and load you out lol. I was working on sharing this with y'all this morning because I think it's very important.

In Matthew 7 21 through 23

Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but the one that does the will of my father who is in heaven

For business it is very important that we know what is on our shelves and that the business takes inventory so that when a customer calls they know that they have the inventory to cover the order The business will lose customers if they find that their inventory was not properly kept up with and that they could not cover the order that was promised to the customer. Likewise it is good to know what is on your spiritual shelf. The last thing that we want to encounter is that we have been here doing all of these things without taking the inventory that we need to be of the truth. It is one thing for a business to lose a sale but it is another to lose your soul thinking that you are doing right. Take a deep inventory of yourself, pray to God, talk to your pastor, and know without a shadow of a doubt that there's nothing but truth in your inventory.

Today I pray that my brothers and sisters will take a deep inventory of themselves and that the holy Spirit would speak to their hearts and minds put a hedge of protection around My brothers and sisters and put a special edge of protection around my family in my absence

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made - Psalms 139

Fearfully and wonderfully made is a phrase from Psalms 139 in the good book.

It refers to the idea that God created each person with great care and attention. This phrase can be used to express gratitude and awe towards the one who made us.

Sometimes we do not feel worthy, or Satan tries to hold our heads down in sin that we committed. One thing, my brothers and sisters, we must look up and see the cross. We must see through our sin the payment of Christ on the cross that covers all sin has already been made. It's done, it's over with God paid all. Once we see this and accept this in our lives we will no longer have to look down, we will see that we, both you and I are wonderfully made in the eyes of God.

Satan has no foothold. We can rely on the strength that God gives us to carry on with our heads held high knowing that we are who we are in Christ.

Today I pray, brothers and sisters, that whatever is holding us down that we release it to God who has made us conquerors and turn away from whatever it is to the cross and know that we are forgiven and we must now live according to his planning purpose.

Look for your calling, it's closer than you think. Tell someone about Jesus. Become more involved today than yesterday.
