Just a little of What I Believe
What I believe about the Scriptures.
I believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Word of God is perfect and preserved. God is the author, salvation and instruction is its purpose, and by it we understand sin and judgement, as well as grace and redemption.
The Word should be practiced:
Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
It should be held close:
Psalms 119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
It should be quoted:
Psalms 119:13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
His Word should be praised:
Psalms 119:48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
It should be precious to us:
Psalms 119:72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
It is eternal:
Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
It is our guide:
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The Fall of Man.
I believe the Scriptures teach that Man was created perfectly and without sin; but by choice plunged himself into iniquity. I believe that mankind in totally depraved, being by nature utterly void of that holiness required by the law of God, and therefore under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse.

Salvation.
I believe that the Scriptures teach that salvation is completely by grace; through faith in the Son of God; who freely took upon him our sin, though He had never sinned. Jesus humbled Himself to the cross, and by his death made a full atonement for our transgressions. I believe we must confess and repent, placing our faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Outside of the gospel of Jesus, there is no salvation, and every knee that bows before Him at the day of Judgement that has not confessed Him as Lord, will be cast into the eternal lake of fire.

Sanctification.
I believe the Scriptures teach that there should be a difference in our lifestyle after we get saved. The Scripture teaches that we are a new creation in Christ, we are born again, old things passed away, all things new. We are known by our fruit, and the commandments of God should not be grievous. Every day we should die to this old flesh, take up our cross, and follow after the things of God.

The Return of Christ.
I believe we see two things in scripture, the rapture of the church, and the return of Jesus. I believe that there is a great falling away going on in this world now, the beginning of sorrows. And I believe it won't be long now until we hear that trumpet sound, and we will meet Jesus in the air. Then seven years later, will be the return of Christ, when He will step down onto the Mount of Olives after that victorious battle of Armageddon. I believe no one will know the day or the hour of the rapture, but I believe we should live everyday as if He was calling us home that very hour. We are not to be caught off guard, but instead be watching. The world will be in darkness, and His return will be as a thief in the night. But the bible says we are to be children of the day, not of the darkness. Let us preach the gospel, let us bring in the sheaves. The fields are white unto harvest, but the laborers are few. It won't be long, and we will give account. So let us be good stewards of our time, because He may just take us home tonight.
